Protection Settings

To configure protection settings:

  1. Select Protection Settings from the navigation tree.
  2. Configure the Default Protection settings:
    1. Select the default Classification. When an internal user applies protection to a document, the default classification is applied.
    2. Select Automatically protect new documents, to apply the default protection settings to all new Internal documents. If this option is not selected, the new documents are unprotected.
  3. Configure Protection Enforcement:
    1. Select the frequency of the automatic protection settings updates - in days or hours.
    2. To block access to documents if the client has not been updated within a defined period of time, click Access to protected documents is blocked if no successful update took place within the last, and select the number of days or hours.
  4. Select the number of days after which Documents are removed from the Web Viewer.
  5. Select User Check operations during which the user gets notification that the document is unprotected:
    • Save
    • Save as
  6. Click Save.
